More social media reactions for The Flash have been shared following tonight’s screening, and they are even more positive than the CinemaCon verdicts. We also have a new international trailer and poster…
A fan screening of The Flash took place tonight, and some reactions have now been shared online.
We’ve been hearing positive things about this movie for quite a while, and even though this particular audience is unlikely to be too harsh, these latest Tweets do suggest that Warner Bros. might indeed have a massive hit on its hands.
Early box office tracking indicates that the Scarlet Speedster’s first solo outing could take in as much as $140 million over the course of its opening weekend, but we should get a more accurate update over the next couple of weeks.
Check out the reactions below (we’ll add more as we have ’em) along with a new international poster and trailer featuring plenty of new footage, including an appearance from Jeremy Irons as Alfred.

The Flash is absolutely sensational.
After all the delays, all the frustration and all nonsense that DCEU fans have had to put up with, this film was absolutely worth the wait!
It’s nothing short of one giant emotional love letter to the character and DC itself. pic.twitter.com/cpvkMT8rln

#TheFlash is not just PHENOMENAL it’s a full on celebration of DC . An emotional action packed ride FULLY FOCUSED on Barry Allen! Supergirl & Keaton’s Batman complement the film w/ applauded worthy moments but this is a FLASH story. The good towers way over the bad. I LOVED IT. pic.twitter.com/4YIPKhub08

“Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash features Barry Allen traveling back in time in order to change events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to help. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…albeit not the one he’s looking for.
Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?”
The Flash is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, an a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production of an Andy Muschietti film.
